The Advanced Technologies Division works as a partner with the information technologyindustry to improve the quality, reliability, resilence, robustness, manageability, security, and interoperability, of networked and distribution systems. As part of the nations Meterology Laboratory, the Advanced Technologies Division conducts research and provides test, measurement, and qualityassurance techniques, tools, models, and reference data for emerging technologies, and develops, demonstrates, and promotes these technologies, through reference implementations, test-beds, guidelines, and standards
